Bringing peace and hope to mind, body and spirit through loving touch.

Our Story

We have all been touched by cancer in one way or another, whether we have had it ourselves, or it has afflicted our family members or friends. One in three people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Mareta Childs, Founder and Executive Director of Loving Hands of Healing Hope was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011. After spending the following 14 months undergoing chemotherapy and numerous other surgeries and treatments, she was cancer-free. During her treatment she was blessed with the opportunity to receive integrative therapy and services from amazing practitioners in the Tucson area. The gifts of touch and care she received through these supplemental services helped reduce stress and create harmony and peace in her body and mind while she was battling cancer. Recognizing that many patients could not afford these helpful treatments, it was during her struggle to heal that she decided to start Loving Hands of Healing Hope. Our mission is to help more patients receive comforting integrative therapies to help them through their time of treatment and recovery.
