Mareta Childs
Founder, Executive Director
Mareta is the owner of Garden of Eden Healing Salon and Spa, and a breast cancer survivor. It was her own battle with cancer that inspired her to start Loving Hands of Healing Hope in 2013. As Executive Director she leads the team, conducts outreach to medical professionals, and coordinates services for patients requesting assistance from the foundation.
Joanna Jongsma
President
Joanna joined the Board of Loving Hands of Healing Hope in 2018, first as Secretary and then as President in 2022. Her professional experience includes work in Public Education for the American Cancer Society and many years in Medical Office Administration, where she frequently worked with cancer patients. Joanna brings valuable skills and knowledge to the Board.
Julie McCoy
Secretary, Treasurer
Julie joined Mareta in establishing Loving Hands of Healing Hope in 2013. She has been the Foundation's Treasurer since its inception and is responsible for marketing and other organizational functions. Julie has an extensive background in Business Management, Administration, Operations, and Marketing.
